MELT!

 Hubby and I got a chance to go out for our anniversary back in April sans kiddos.  We decided to try MELT restaurant in Cleveland Hts, OH.  It was FABULOUS!!!!

This 1st picture is what Ralph had to eat.  It is called, "The Dude Abides."  It is made of homade meatballs, fried mozzarella cheese sticks, rich marinara, provolone & romano cheese.  The fries are homemade with a wonderful blend of spices instead of just salt.  The homemade slaw is to die for.  JUST WONDERFUL!

This 2nd picture is what I had.  Chorizo & Potato.  I added a side of avocado and a fried egg but it is spicy mexican sausage, potato hash, sharp cheddar between 2 thick slices of toast.  WORTH EVERY PENNY!

This last picture is of the dessert.  A little pricey for what we got and although very good and flavorful, I would not recommend dessert at this sandwich shop.  We had A fried twinkie.  Notice I said, "A" and not twinkies.  It was 1 twinkie, cut into 3 pieces and deep fried to perfection.  I would have perferred a whole twinkie.

Overall, I loved the place so much and can't wait to go back, but I dislike the wait.  They don't do call ahead and it's an one hour wait if you're not there when the doors 1st open.  They are on Facebook, so check them out!
