Well, we all decided to have Memorial Day lunch at my parents house. We were all enjoying a great BBQ which included BBQ ribs, German Potato salad, fresh veggies, watermelon, etc..... The boys, as usual, finished first and asked to be excused. We said they could go play while the adults finished eating.
Needless to say, the boys started rough housing and Teagan got pushed by Ethan. Teagan fell and hit his head on the grandfather clock and began crying... Well, wouldn't you?
I ran to get him as soon as it happened, cradling his head in my hand. I carried him to the couch and set him on my lap so I could look him over, and that's when I noticed the blood just gushing over my hand. Ralph and I searched and searched for where it was coming from and found a 2 inch gash on the back of his head. Being cautious.... and not knowing how to transport him without bleeding out, we called 911 and got an ambulance to my parents house to look him over. They said he would need stitches and to make sure he didn't have any head or spine injuries, they packed him down. Here, I have 2 pictures. The top one of him in the ambulance and the bottom one of him in the ER waiting for the doctor. Don't worry. He's not passed out, it was after lunch and he's full so it's nap time. They said it was ok, so we let him nap. That was nice, 'cause it took awhile for the doc to see him. I had gotten the bleeding mostly stopped by the time the ambulance came, but they still packed the back of his head with gauze.
After 3 hours in the ER, 2 X-Rays and a CT scan, we were released with 3 staples in the back of his head. He's OK and I have to call the pediatrician to have the staples removed, but now I can break down and let it all out.

Thank God Teagan is ok, I wonder if he put a dent in the grandfather clock, never the less, what a scare Yvone! Ralph and you must be relieved now. I just had to call you ,since I still have your number on speed dial, and find out about Teagan. Yes, you can let it out. How did Ethan take it? (Never mind me I was just all worried and said a prayer that Teagan would all right.) Will talk to you later, hope everything is okay. Love, George :)xoxoxo
